Acrylabs and Conklin Roof Coating Systems
Restore your roof for half the price, with no tear-off
If your metal roof or commercial flat roof is aging but still sound, a professional coating system seals it into one seamless, watertight, sun-reflecting surface. You skip the dumpster, the demolition, and roughly half the cost of a new roof.
Why coatings beat a premature replacement
A new roof is the right call when a roof is truly done. But many roofs get replaced years early when a coating system would have solved the problem for half the money. Here is what a coating buys you.
About half the cost of replacement
On a qualifying roof, a coating system typically runs around half the price of a tear-off and replacement. That is real money back in your pocket.
No tear-off, no mess
Your existing roof stays in place. No dumpsters, no debris, no days of banging overhead. Most coating jobs finish fast with minimal disruption.
One seamless waterproof membrane
The coating cures into a single continuous surface with no seams or joints, which removes the most common places leaks start.
Reflective and energy smart
Bright white top coats reflect Lowcountry sun instead of absorbing it, which can take real strain off your cooling system all summer.
Adds years of roof life
A properly prepped and coated roof gains years of additional service, and many systems can be re-coated later to extend life again.
Which roofs qualify?
Acrylabs and Conklin coating systems are built for metal roofs and commercial flat or low-slope roofs. They are not for residential shingle roofs. If your shingle roof needs help, that is exactly what our repair-first crews do every day. Coatings shine on:
- Metal roofs with surface rust, fading, or aging seams
- Flat and low-slope commercial roofs with sound decking
- Aging commercial membrane roofs that are still structurally solid
- Roofs with recurring leaks at seams, fasteners, and penetrations
If your decking is soft or moisture is trapped underneath, a coating will not fix that, and we will tell you straight during the free inspection.
How a coating job works
Free inspection
We check the decking, seams, and moisture levels to confirm your roof actually qualifies. If it does not, we will tell you.
Prep and repairs
We pressure wash, fix any soft spots, and seal fasteners, seams, and penetrations so the coating bonds to a sound surface.
Base coat and fabric
A base coat goes down with reinforcement fabric at seams and transitions, the areas where failures usually begin.
Reflective top coat
The finish coat seals everything into one seamless, watertight, sun-reflecting membrane across the whole roof.
